Manage Game Play

As part of our commitment to responsible gambling, Resorts World Sentosa is pleased to introduce a new tool to provide play information to patrons, known as Manage Game Play.

What's Manage Game Play?

  • The Manage Game Play tool is voluntary. It aims to empower patrons with real-time information on gambling time and spend, as well as provides personalised notifications to them. This will help patrons make more informed gambling decisions and better manage their play at the casino.
  • Illustrated by a new logo using Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs) elements, which patrons can identify with, Manage Game Play encourages patrons to set an appropriate time and/ or spend limit when playing at the EGMs.

How does it work?

  • Register for this Programme.
  • Set how long and/ or how much you want to play on electronic gaming machines.
  • Receive SMS notifications at selected intervals based on the duration and/ or the spend amount you have set.
  • Choose to continue or stop playing.

Can I change the Manage Game Play Time and/ or Spend Amount or withdraw from the Programme?

  • Yes, you can change your duration, spend amount and/ or interval notification settings or choose to withdraw from MGP at any time at our Membership Hub in the casino.

How to enroll?

  • Enroll with your membership card.
  • Simply (a) approach our Membership Hub or any Responsible Gambling Ambassador in casino for assistance or (b) complete and submit the form.
  • Enrollment is free.

How are duration and spend amount being calculated?

  • After enrollment into the Programme, only gameplay on gaming machines (i.e. Slot Machines and Electronic Table Games) with the use of the membership card will be taken into consideration for the purpose of calculating the gameplay time and/ or spend under this Programme.
  • The calculation of gameplay time will stop when either (i) there are no wagers made for a period of 2 minutes or longer (inactive period); or (ii) when the membership card is ejected from the gaming machine’s card reader.
  • The calculation of gameplay time will resume when either (i) a wager is made after the inactive period; or (ii) when the membership card is re-inserted into the gaming machine’s card reader and a wager is made.
  • The calculation of spend will commence upon the placing a wager after the membership card is inserted into the gaming machine’s card reader. Wager is defined as:
    • Cash; and/or
    • Ticket-in, ticket-out (“TITO”), including tickets from cash or cash equivalent purchases, programme buy-ins, and tickets-out with remaining gaming credits. However, non-negotiable credits in the form of electronic Slots Non Negotiable Credits (“eSNN”) from cash or cash equivalent programme buy-ins, campaign redemptions, or conversion of gaming points (“Genting Dollars”) are excluded in the “spend limit” calculation.
(the above are collectively “MGP spend”).
  • The calculation of MGP spend will be based on the net difference between the winnings (except for single winnings of more than S$9,999) and wagers made out of the “MGP spend”. Winnings will be taken into consideration, if the player performs one of the following actions, while membership card remains carded-in:
    • Placing next wager
    • Taking winnings
  • A gameplay time and/ or spend limit set on a daily basis will reset at 00:00 hrs (i.e. 00:00:00). A gameplay time and/ or spend limit set on a weekly basis will reset on Monday at 00:00 hrs. A gameplay time and/ or spend limit set on a monthly basis will reset on the first day of the month at 00:00 hrs.
  • In the event that any member who sets a daily/ weekly/ monthly gameplay limit opts to amend their gameplay time and/ or spend limit under his/ her gameplay settings, such amendment shall take effect from the time the amendment to the gameplay settings is successfully made in this Programme.
  • Notwithstanding the paragraphs above, in the event that a manual system for enrolment, withdrawal or amendment is used, such manual enrolment, withdrawal or amendment may take up to 14 working days to process.

How are notifications provided to me?

  • RWS will provide notification that the relevant gameplay time and/ or spend limits have been met by sending an SMS; and/ or on a best effort basis, approaching the patron in person. In the event that more than one limit has been met during each notification interval, only the highest limit will be provided.

Manage Game Play Terms & Conditions apply.
