Casino Entry Levy

Singaporeans and Permanent Residents of Singapore (the "Residents") must have a valid entry levy to enter the casino premises. Person eligible to enter casino premises must be 21 years old or above. Entry levies are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances (including during any closures or capacity restrictions (e.g. in a pandemic), as well as for persons under Exclusion, Visit Limit or prohibition). RWS reserves the right to prohibit the levy holder from entering or remaining in the casino at its sole discretion. Entry levies collected are paid to the Singapore Totalisator Board for social or charitable purposes.

 

Types of Entry Levy

Day Levy: S$150

Annual Levy: S$3,000

  • Residents and non-residents are to enter and leave the casino premises using lanes designated for residents and non-residents respectively.
  • Residents are required to pay entry levy prior to entering the casino premises.
  • Only persons 21 years old and above are eligible to enter into the casino premises.
  • Entry levies are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances (including during any closures or capacity restrictions (e.g. in a pandemic), as well as for persons under Exclusion, Visit Limit or prohibition). RWS reserves the right to prohibit the levy holder from entering or remaining in the casino at its sole discretion.
  • A fine of up to S$1,000 for entering the casino premises without paying entry levy is specified in section 116(6) of the Casino Control Act (the "Act").
  • Residents are reminded to check their entry levy expiry via Membership Kiosks before exiting.
  • Overstayers are reminded to purchase entry levies at the nearest levy counters or entry levy kiosks before exiting.

Residents are required to purchase a day levy or annual levy before entering the casino. 

All entry levies purchased will be activated upon your first entry into the casino premises after the purchase or automatically 6 hours after time of purchase, whichever occurs first.
  • Singapore NRIC;
  • Singapore driving license;
  • Singapore Armed Forces identification card;
  • Singapore Civil Defence Force National Service identification card;
  • Singapore Police Force National Service identification card;
  • Passport issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority;
  • NRIC collection slip issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority; together with an original identification document issued by the Singapore Government that contains both a photo identification and date of birth (collectively known as “permitted identification documents”);
  • Certificate of Identity issued by the Singapore Government; or
  • Foreign passports of Singapore Permanent Residents with valid Immigration Singapore stamps or valid Re-entry Permits, upon entering the casino premises.
  • At levy counters : Cash, NETS, direct debit or credit card
  • At levy kiosks : Cash, NETS or credit card
Patrons will get a levy receipt from our levy counters or levy kiosks. You are required to present permitted identification documents when entering the casino premises via Singaporean/PR lanes at the entrance.
Day levy and annual levy purchased for one casino cannot be used for another casino.

Entry levy purchased is non-transferable. Permitted identification documents have to be produced for verification purposes before entering the casino premises. It is an offense to enter the casino premises without a valid entry levy or using another person's permitted identification documents to enter the casino.
Patrons are required to produce permitted identification documents when purchasing entry levy at levy counters/kiosks. Purchasing entry levy via the Internet levy payment portal and at the levy kiosks will be rejected for patrons below 21 years old.
The entry levy receipt does not indicate entry date and time. Patrons are able to check their levy expiry date and time at any of the Membership Kiosks in the casino premises. Patrons who wish to stay beyond their entry levy validity can buy a second entry levy from the levy counters or levy kiosks in the casino. Patrons who exit after the expiry of their levy validity will be escorted to the nearest levy counters to pay for outstanding levy.
Yes, residents should present their permitted identification documents before exiting the casino premises.
Patrons can enter/leave the casino freely as long as their entry levy has not expired.
The casino operator is prohibited from reimbursing entry levy under CCA. 
The entry levies collected from the patrons are submitted to Singapore Totalisator Board for public and charity causes. The casino operator does not keep any part of the entry levies collected. 
No, employees do not get any discounts off the entry levy.
It is an offence to enter the casino without a valid entry levy ticket. The penalty of doing so is a fine up to S$1,000.

Non-residents are not required to purchase entry levy to enter the casino. However, it is a statutory requirement for non-residents to present either of the following identification documents before entering the casino :

a. Foreign passport with any of the following :
 i. Short-term immigration pass (Note: This category includes group passports with the particulars and photo graph of each member on the group);
  ii. Long-term visit pass without photograph identification;
 iii. Student pass without photograph identification;
 iv. Notification of cancellation of student’s pass, visit pass and embarkation form issued by the ICA;
  v. Notification letter issued by the Ministry of Manpower allowing the person named in the letter to work and stay in Singapore until issuance of his/her work pass card;
 vi. Immigration (Exemption) Order (‘IEO’) stamp of the ICA (in the foreign passport); or
  vii. Multiple Journey Visit Pass (MJVP) or Multiple Journey Pass (MJP) stamp issued by the ICA;

b. Long-term visit pass with photograph identification;

c. Student pass with photograph identification;

d. Work pass;

e. Ministry of Foreign Affairs Identification Cards issued to Diplomats in Foreign Embassies and Professional Staff in International Organizations;

f. Special pass with photograph identification issued by the Ministry of Manpower or the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority;

g. Dependant's Pass issued by the Ministry of Manpower;

h. Certificate of Identity issued by a foreign government (or equivalent); or

i. Foreign seafarer travel document issued by a foreign government with a short-term immigration pass or a long-term visit pass.

Only Residents are required to purchase a day levy or annual levy before entering the casino. A day levy allows you to stay in the casino for up to 24-hour period from the first entry into the casino. You can also buy an annual levy that gives you unlimited entries to Singapore's first casino at Resorts World™ Sentosa for 12 consecutive months from the first entry into the casino premises.
